Lucas DevotionHostPRINSGuestHello.
Oh my gosh, things have been amazing.
Very busy.
But no, I'm excited to be back on the show with you.
I think it is the third time.
You're right.
before

your last gig at the town hall in christchurch i think that's right timing wise oh
goodness me that was a little yeah that was a little while ago now
yeah i so i've just announced um a brand new ep called messy young and able which comes out on the 6th of november um five tracks five new songs i just released the first single last week called the sequel um which has been really really great and really fun to just have some new music out for everybody but i'm basically working towards a big world tour at the moment um we're heading over to the uk and europe um in october and then we'll be back to some shows in australia and new zealand And I'll be playing in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington in November.
So lots going on.
But currently I'm actually driving a giant tour truck around the country and doing a bunch of free pop-up shows pretty much anywhere and everywhere.
So that's keeping me very busy at the moment.

Yeah, it was crazy seeing the video of you pulling up and performing at Riverside Market.

You know, is it surreal seeing your face on this giant van and, you know, on the bridge by Valentine's? Like, do you ever get used to that? Yes.
i don't know i don't think it's something that you can get used to honestly and i didn't even know about the bridge one to be fair that was organized by uh strong cbd uh the like big pilates gym studio i did a collaboration with them um on saturday morning and basically was the live soundtrack to their workouts which was something very unique and different that we haven't really done before um but no i was driving literally driving down the road and i saw it up on the colombo bridge and i thought that was very cool so definitely not something that you get used to but the uh the one on the truck was definitely planned by me and it's very excessive i think it's uh catching a lot of people's attention which really is the point um but yeah it is kind of funny just to be driving around with a giant truck with my face on it

So I'm not sure how much you want to share, how much you want to tease, but as we're coming into Missy Young and Abel, this new era, what does it sound like to you? Where did these tracks kind of come from? When were they put together? And what can we kind of expect vibe-wise, I suppose?
