So, uh, going into these two concerts, I was probably a little bit more excited to see Ella Langley.

Uh, you were probably a little bit more excited to see Megan Moroney?

I was, yeah.

And, you know, anyone who follows you on social media or subscribes to Don't Rock the Inbox, anybody who knows you knows that Cloud 9 is one of your favorite albums of 2026.

Yeah.

No, I've, I've had it on repeat, and I, I will say I keep reiterating, but, like, I really wasn't a Megan Moroney stan, like, up to this, up to this album.

You know, there were songs that I was into-

but I wasn't, like, fully bought in, as like, "Wow, she's, she's really, like, the next big thing." But Cloud 9 I just find so fun, and I just can't stop listening to it.

I mean, the proof's in the pudding.

You know, I'm, I'm putting it on, like, front to back-

And you're singing along to all the words and all the songs of the show, certainly.

What, what is it about Cloud 9 that you think kind of puts it a cut above her first two albums? What is it that, like, is making you into that sort of Megan Moroney stan?

I did, I re-listened to the first two today to kind of try and answer that question for myself and for the podcast.

Um, I, the first two are even more ballad heavy, and I do think that with Cloud 9 she's really found a greater range of melodies that suit her voice, if that makes sense.

Mm-hmm.

Um, on the first two albums, I think there's a lot more repetition of, like, melodic ticks because, like, she's not...

You know, I think she would probably cop to being somewhat limited as a vocalist.
