*Irene Kelly travels through parallel universes, repeatedly killing her daughter's murderer. As she becomes consumed by vengeance, her humanity hangs in the balance.* Not fucking with someone who…
But they also directed a movie called The Block Island Sound, which is described as a horror mystery thriller.
Okay.
Which I guess that's their lane.
Okay.
Because that's how I describe this one.
We watched it because I decided to check in on, you know, what are the top horror movies this year? Because we do a pretty good job keeping up on that stuff, especially with the theatrical releases.
But there's always stuff that slips by.
Yeah.
And so I looked something up and there were a few movies on there that I didn't recognize.
I hadn't heard of.
This was one of them.
And when I looked up the description, I was like, this sounds fucking cool.
So let's check this out.
So I think that's what's cool about this right out the gate is it is a really strong concept because I think that's something we are... realizing especially about like modern horror i know christopher nolan said something about this that like he wants to make a horror movie but he's trying to find a good idea because i think most good horror movies at this point they have this like good one sentence idea that they can run with And this one, it's a revenge story.
And it's about a woman who she's trying to avenge her daughter who is murdered by a serial killer.
And the twist is that she just so happens to have a trans-dimensional machine that lets her... go between dimensions and hunt this guy down over and over and over again um and the details around that and like specifically her goals and stuff that's more in the spoiler territory um it is very interesting we'll get into that part later i will say like yeah this movie rocks
Yeah, it was good.
You like this one? Yeah, I did.
Well, what was cool about this is I literally knew nothing going in.
I was like, I didn't even see it anywhere until you brought it up.
That's why I like looking up those lists because you just never know what you're going to find on them.
But this was very good.
This was extremely
good.
