Mary CurtisGuestAnd so Mary Curtis, from your perspective, working with families and kind of being the first, you know, the first person that many families communicate with, what are some of the most common questions parents have about activities or some of the conversations that you have with them?

I was, you know, I don't really get that many questions from parents, which is nice because in my mind, I feel like that is an indication that they're letting their kids have the autonomy to pick the classes that they'd like to pick.

Um, but, uh, I have had questions regarding, for example, a camper that was a swimmer at home, didn't want to take swimming at camp, but still wanted to participate in the swim meet and was wondering if that was an option.

I also, I've had families that have had reservations about some of our weapons programs, either whether or not you need to bring your own equipment, which you don't provide them, Or, you know, they have different feelings when it comes to those types of things in their household.

And so they would rather their child not experience that at camp, which is, you know, again, ultimately a conversation you need to have with your child before they arrive at camp because, you know, that is kind of not our department to determine for you.
I don't mean to interrupt you, but I remember a parent years ago saying to me on, on opening day, can you please make sure she doesn't take drama? I want her outside all the time.
And I was like, I can't make sure that of that, like, that's a conversation you need to have with her.
So I thought that was really unique, you know, interesting, like, I want her outside all the time.

But I will say, like, looking back, you know, these are few and far between these conversations, which so hats off to parents for Like your kids come in and make those decisions.
