In this episode, I talk about how my husband was able to maintain control over me by keeping me in a constant state of fear. I talk about the various people constantly threatening to get the police…
But around that same time, there were several other men who were all somehow involved with my husband and his antics.
There were three main ones that I can remember, like their stories were the longest and most involved.
So there was Mr. T, Mr. K, and Mr.
I, who were the three main antagonists in my life for some time.
So I'll tell each of their stories separately as I can no longer recall their timelines correctly.
In terms of how much they traumatized me, I would have to say that Mr.
I was the most traumatizing, followed by Mr. K and then Mr. T, maybe.
Although they were all very traumatizing.
But in terms of shock value in their stories, perhaps Mr. K was the least and Mr. T was the most.
So that's the order that I'll tell their stories in.
Mr. K was a firefighter, which meant in Japan that he was a public servant and could not have any side jobs.
And I believe that that's how my ex was able to manipulate him, because they were doing deals with this silver jewelry, and Mr. K was earning quite a bit of money buying and selling the jewelry on the side, at least according to what my husband said.
However, from what I could tell...
He was not a good person either.
So I had a website.
I still have a website for my translation services that lists my phone number.
And he would call me and send me emails via my website demanding money and demanding that I make my husband pay him back for whatever he had conned him out of.
But I didn't want to be a part of any of it.
I didn't want to listen to it.
I didn't want to read any of it, any of the emails.
So I would automatically forward the emails to my husband or I would just yell back at him when he called.
basically saying that I didn't have the energy to worry about him and his demands, that I needed to focus on my family, and then I would just hang up on him.
So I think he eventually gave up on trying to get anything out of me, but he would send me messages now and again that I would just ignore.
And he would demand that my ex put me on the phone when he would call, and then, of course, my ex would, and he would demand that I force my ex to pay him whatever he had promised to pay him.
That kind of thing.
