**Episode 26-26 A 5-Step Framework For Using Your Mind To Heal Your Body** There are times when healing comes easy. For example, placing a BandAid on a cut… or resting and icing a sprained ankle…
George BurrowsHost
Like when you sprain an ankle, just let the body rest, put ice on it, maybe wrap it, you know, compress it, elevate it, or what we call RICE, R-I-C-E, rest, ice, compression, elevation.

And then there's other conditions that are not real complicated, but require more effort on your part to create that right environment.

For example, suppose you have a food sensitivity or a food allergy, and that's what's causing your eczema or your headaches or your hormone imbalances or your digestive disturbances.

But when you do, it creates an environment for your body to heal, and it does.

And then, of course, there's more serious issues, things like cancer or Parkinson's or multiple sclerosis or a host of chronic conditions that are just stubborn.

There could be a bunch of things you need to do to create an environment in which your body can heal itself.

However, sometimes there are conditions that despite your best efforts, you've done everything, but your body won't heal.

You know, you've tried every pill, every potion, every lotion, every herb, every supplement, every type of diet, every new gadget, cold plunges, red light therapy, saunas.

All these things are great, but there's going to be times, no matter what you do, your body's not healing.
