So could you explain from your, as a qualified therapist, what is CBT actually? What is it? What's its background? Where is it from? What does it do?

So everything is taken from people's research, people develop formulations, so an understanding of why people think or behave in certain ways and what the sequelae of that is.

There's lots of homework involved that normally is the bit that people go, oh no, there'll be loads of homework.

So there's a good evidence behind it and it's about learning to do things differently.

The relationship between how we think, how we feel and how we behave and how actually if you look at those areas and you change them, then actually you can get a completely different outcome.
