Judy Sharpe talks about fertilising the garden and planting fucias and gardenia.
Judy SharpeGuestMarkHostGood afternoon, Fiona at Currie.
What's going on with your roses, Fiona?
Hi, yes, the last few days I've noticed that not all of my roses, but some of my roses out the front that get all the sun are getting a yellowy brownish colour on their leaves, more so down the bottom.
And some of them do have a little bit of a black spot.
I was just wondering whether...
With all the heat we've had, have I over-watered them or would there be another problem there?

I think it's time they just start to get a few problems, one of them being aphids.
spray them about a week ago.
Whatever, the one I've got in there.
That one that you always say.
Pyrethrum? Yes.
Yes, I've been doing that.
Actually, I'm about ready to do that again today because it's been a month since I've done the potash of sulphate.
I've done the slow-release.
Is it Osmocote, the slow-release? And I've also done the roses one, the little brown stinky smelly ball things.
