I always find when I do a long run or any run, the start, yeah, okay, maybe you're not super motivated, but you're like, "All right.

Let's do this." You get to the middle, and then that's when you gotta start to really understand, okay, how am I gonna get through this? How am I gonna overcome it? And then you get your second wind usually in that final pipe just before the finish line when you can see the end, and you, you, you beeline for it.

Anyone can go out there and say, "I'm gonna do this." You can go out and get new shoes.

But the reality starts to sink in after week three, after month two, after month six, and year two when things start to really get gnarly, things start to really test you.

And who's still there? The amount of times I've seen peoples telling me that they're gonna start doing this, or they wanna do that, or they're, they're planning to do these things, and they do.

They do it for three weeks, or they do it for a couple of months, or they do it for six months, or they do it for two years and then disappear.

And it's the start that seems to get this attention, but the middle is what actually starts to carve you into the greatness that you'll become because reps will build more than just results.

I guess we can look at reps whether it's a workout, whether it's a hard conversation, whether it's a journal entry, whether it's getting out a piece of content or another early morning or being uncomfortable or dealing with an uncomfortable choice.
