One thing you got to understand is with beekeeping, it is, it's agriculture just like anything else.
And bees are in Commonwealth of Virginia are livestock, just like cows or chickens or pigs or anything like that.
Nationwide, In the last 10 years or maybe eight years, commercial beekeepers, and I mean, you got to understand honey on the commercial side is just a byproduct.
The big money is in the pollinization service where the bees are trucked border to border and coast to coast to pollinate almond orchards or blueberry fields or cranberries or apple orchards or anything.
one out of every three bites of your food comes from a beekeeper's pollinization service and bees pollinating it so that's where the money is so let's also create a bunch of problems but the commercial guys that may have one three ten thousand hives um nationwide average of loss in the last six to eight years has been fifty percent wow it is it is It's a disaster.
I don't know if it's through what I do, whether I'm in a low pesticide area or I've just taken care of a row of my good or what I've done or the breeds, the bees that I breed of our own bees.
That's just farming, you know, and it's nothing I can do about it except for try to do better the next year.
I'll do one of the beekeeping videos I do where I'll post a picture of a big fish I have or, you know, Lisa's birthday was yesterday and I'll get a hundred hits.
I'll put something on the demise of the honeybee and like four people will acknowledge it where they won't watch the video.
