Gold mine #6 - Right things, Wrong reasons (Hannah)

So my name's Hannah.

I have been part of Freedom for a really long time.

And I get to close out this Goldmine series.

And if you don't know what this Goldmine series has been, it's been six truths that might just change your life.

And we've got to hear from six different people from our church who don't normally preach.

And we've heard some incredible preachers and like, First of all, I want to thank the people that have gone before me.

You put a mic in front of me, and I'm honestly, I'm probably the most comfortable I'll ever be.

This is not a problem for me, but I know some of my friends, that's not easy for them.

It's taken real sacrifice, and I want to thank you guys for being willing to do that.

There's been a lot of work and effort that's put into this, and so I want to say thank you.

But I also want to say thank you to our pastors.

I traditionally am the kind of person that hates it when someone gets up on stage and does this, because I feel like it's really disingenuous, but Guys, I'm only here because of the leaders that have led me over the last kind of decade.

We have some of the most incredible leaders, the most humble people you will ever meet.

I've known them long enough to know the things that they get wrong as well.

And they're still worth following.

And I want to thank you guys because I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the way that you guys have believed in me.

So thank you.

But also thank you for investing in our church.

I know that you've prayed for this room.

You've prayed for every person in it, whether this is your first time or not.

You've prayed for that.

And I really want to say thank you for that.
