Previously on Fractured Fables - Charlie found Morty in a memory of the night he died, the two had a conversation about their relationship, the truths and the lies that have been told. After Morty let Charlie know he wasn't going anywhere just yet, he is cursed after all. Back at the magic shop the party did what all parties do when things get rough, get drunk. A night of drinking leads to the first real conversation Everett and Charlie have had with one another, a discussion of how changelings work, and the promise to be honest with each other. A promise neither of them will break, right? With Ami out cold, Everett and Charlie getting ready to call it a night, and a Siddy still missing in action, the party isn't ready for Astrid to return with a mimic and enough necrotic damage that Siddy might not be able to heal her.
