Um, but I do wanna talk briefly about, like, first dates, because before I get into real relationship talk, like life partnership, I have to start this topic by saying that I firmly believe that the first date sets the tone for a relationship for the future.

Who's to say that there is a future or that there is going to be a relationship? But isn't that the point? Like, you're going on dates, I'm assuming, with the intention of meeting someone to see if they're a good fit to be your partner, to be someone to be in a relationship with.

That's why, in my opinion, it is so important that if you want a certain s- set of standards to be met, and if you have morals that align with mine about roles and responsibilities, you should only be going on dates with guys that will plan the date and provide for the date.

When my husband-- when we first started texting, before we even went on our first date, he asked me what type of food that I like.

He didn't say like, "Where do you wanna go?" He just said like, "What type of food do you like to eat?" Totally normal.

I always think that they should ask that because you gotta give them at least a little direction in the sense that like they don't even know what you like to eat.

So if they're picking, you know, a, a, a Chinese restaurant and you hate Chinese food, you know, then you gotta say, "Oh, well, I can't eat that." Like, whatever the case is.

Um, so when he asked me what I like to eat, I said, "I like sushi and a man with a plan." And he was like, "Noted." And so he planned a date to Nobu, sushi.

What restaurants do you like?" Or would just look for suggestions 'cause they're like, "Oh, well, you know, you live over here and I live over here, so is there somewhere by you that you wanna go?" Like, have you ever been on a vacation somewhere out of your five-block radius and like figured out places to go somewhere? Like you can't figure out somewhere to go in the next town over.

And if I did end up going out with a guy who did that, like if I, if a, if a guy asked me for suggestions or where I wanted to go and I proceeded to go on a date with him, I always knew immediately on that date that he wasn't for me.

Like if he cannot plan a date from start to finish, he cannot plan a life, he cannot plan a future for you, and forget it.

If he can't pay for a date, he certainly cannot afford to be married and have kids.
