Love What You Heard? Send a message! Your business can be growing on paper while you quietly feel stuck in the day-to-day grind. In this episode, we…
I'm hoping that by the end of this episode that you have some deep clarity as it relates to like how things are going right now for you, for your business, for your mindset, and for your self leadership? And do they align with that overarching goal and vision of where you want to go? This episode was actually inspired by a recent conversation with a client.
And you know, we were kind of just like, talking about what they were doing in the day to day of like their business, and and how it matched up with like, where they wanted to go because and I know I'm like for sure guilty of this is that like it's really easy to get stuck in the doing of the everyday right like we especially if you are a solo entrepreneur or if you have a small team it's like we just get stuck in the doing and we're we're showing up we've got our to-do list we need to move things forward we need to get the income um and sometimes we end up in a place where we are doing things not necessarily because they feel good but just because it's you know either how we've always done things or it's like you know this is the season we're in right now but that season has been going on for a very long time so that's kind of where this client was at is it was like okay here's what I've been doing I'm really feeling this pull to do something else like what's what's happening right now isn't really working and But it's like creating the time and the space to reflect on that and gain awareness on that and get clarity so that you can decide where you're going to go from that.
I always say that awareness is power, right? And awareness is the first step.
Because then once you're like, okay, this is the reality of where things are.
This is like either taking me to where I want to be or it's not taking me to where I want to be.
It's keeping me stuck in the same loop.
in the same pattern, in the same script.
Oftentimes it's related to that.
Then you can take ownership over like, okay, now I know what's going on.
And now I can figure out, you know, as Anna would say, in Frozen, you can tell what age stage I'm in.
What is the next right thing, right? Like what is the next right step that we can do to get closer to that self-mastery, to get closer to that income goal? to get closer to that next identity that's going to ultimately have the result in us being in this place where we're like, yes, that is where I want to go.
And you know, I don't know about you, but I find so much clarity comes for me when I slow down.
So especially like, you know, in the summer, when I go away to a cottage for a week, I always go like with the intention or even on a girl's weekend.
um depending on the group of women that I'm going with but when I go away on vacation with our family I am going with the intention of unplugging sometimes I bring my computer sometimes I don't I oftentimes will delete certain apps off of my phone so that I can really like be present and just like unplug and just be Andrea um And sometimes I do this like in the evenings or, you know, sometimes I do this like during the day as well.
But I find like that big creative flow happens when I'm like quiet for an extended period of time.
And I find that when I am, you know, at the cottage.
It's the morning.
I'm down there with my notebook.
I've got my cup of coffee.
The lake is so calm.
Oh my gosh, I can like picture it in my mind right now.
I love the water.
I absolutely love being by the water.
I just feel like it cleanses me.
It heals me.
