I lost my sister to cancer as well when I was eight years old.
And so I've been living and dealing with cancer and caregiving since I was seven, six years old.
And so to witness my little sister pass away really opened my eyes for the first time to what grief is, what God is, what heaven is from a child standpoint and to have like a positive connotation about that because the way she showed us the way she molded us to love the Lord, fear the Lord, know that death is not a bad thing.
Our loved ones are going to leave us, but it's okay.
You know, you're going to grieve, but God's greatness is going to carry you through with his grace, you know? And so that helped me through all my life when dealing with situations of cancer or bad situations, just knowing that, It's going to happen.
It's going to rain, but God also going to give us an umbrella to make sure that we sustain that rain.
