Clear Lake gave me a lot, and I think the most valuable is network with your health care colleagues, whether they are in one organization or another.

When, again, going back to your book of self-handicapping behaviors with tunnel vision, we tend to see, okay, this is my world.

We had a lot of presenters from the CEO of the VA, from Memorial Hermann, from MD Anderson, and all of them, I believe, share that same vision of how do we help healthcare as a whole when we're just getting hit by insurance regulations um government laws state and federal where there's a lot of cuts with just patients having access to the right health care and different grants that are able to help the uninsured but not enough so getting healthcare executives together is way more powerful from different for-profit non-profit federal healthcare than one person trying to fight that battle.

So what really you HCL taught me was being in a network of professionals that truly care about healthcare and making it better.
