So as folks who are leading these organizations or leading the folks who are a part of these organizations, what skill sets, both hard and soft, are you looking for when you're hiring for new positions?
We use scenarios in our interview process a lot to ask people, hey, what would you do in this scenario? Or tell us about an experience.
And so as you're building a resume, like the things you did are fine, but I'm going to say, oh, you did this thing, but tell us about a time when dot, dot, dot.
as far on the political spectrum as you can get and bring them together and just have a chat about how we're going to work on moving some food.
So I like, you know, and sort of being able to express that in an interview and be confident that you can be put in manage situations where you can be a little bit outside of your comfort zone and be willing to learn and behave as a team and independently.
I'm really excited to hear that other people are also using practical hiring exercises, because I think it's so great for both the employer to get a sense of, how do you actually do your work? How do you think about your work? And I think it's a really great opportunity for the candidate, too, to get a sense of what the work might look like or what it would be like to work with these people, because it goes both ways.
A couple other things that I always look for are curiosity and flexibility too.
