What happens when you combine 21 years of working in healthcare with energy, intention, and visualization? In this first episode of my Peru series, I'm sharing a new approach to energy healing that I…
If you've been listening to the podcast for a while, you know that I have explored Reiki.
I am a level two Reiki practitioner since 2008 and i've done energy work before but this time the approach was a little bit different i'm trying something new so while i'm working with energy i'm not following the structure of any previous energy healing training i hope that makes sense i'm going to combine this with my understanding of the human body intention and visualization And the person I decided to practice on first is, you guessed it, Jeff.
Imagine going into a three-week trip to Peru knowing that you have approximately 13 hours of flying just to get there, countless hours in buses and vehicles as we get around and some pretty intense hiking that was planned.
So we ended up walking and hiking over 120 kilometers throughout this trip, and that's including our five-day Sulcante trek through the Andes to Machu Picchu.
Now, not perfect, I need to add that, but much better than both him and I had anticipated.
And I'm not saying that I magically cured his back or that I somehow, you know, repaired his back, the damage that's done, but compared to what I have seen or experienced with him in previous years, it was pretty noticeable difference.
And of course, I'm over here wondering if all of this is connected to my practice.
Jeff, on the other hand, is a little bit hesitant to make the connection, which I think is fair.
Again, I don't say I'm at a different level than Jeff, but Jeff's just moving at baby steps.
So he wants to believe in things, but I think he still needs long-term proof, which I'm I accept.
So today I want to tell you exactly what I was doing, why I started approaching energy healing differently and some of the experiences that we had on this trip and what all of this has, I guess, made me curious to explore more.
Okay, so something I found really interesting about this whole experience is how my two worlds are colliding right now.
