I feel like a lot of people right now are experiencing this, and it's one of the most common, I guess, questions or statements that I hear from clients and students, especially when their intuition or their mediumship starts to get stronger.
You've lived a completely normal life up until this point, and suddenly you're having vivid dreams, you're seeing things out of the corner of your eye, you're thinking about someone and they call you immediately, or you're feeling spirit.
You're feeling that presence, and you're getting knowings that you just can't explain to anyone.
You, you don't know where all of this is coming from, and you're thinking right now, "Where was this for the last 30, 40, 50 years? When did this happen?" And you start looking back at your life, and maybe you remember being terrified of the dark.
Maybe you remember seeing someone standing in your bedroom when you were a child, or you had an imaginary friend.
Maybe the better question isn't, "Why did my abilities turn on now?" But maybe it's more of, "Why am I finally noticing them again? Why are they coming back? What's happening right now?" I want you to think of it this way.
What if they never actually went away? Uh, when we talk about abilities and shutting them on and off, I use that language because it's easy for people to understand.
The on/off switch, the, the radio dial, everyone can make sense of that analogy, but I don't believe that our intuition actually shuts off.
[laughs] Uh, as children, we're imaginative, we're curious, we're less concerned whether something makes logical sense.
It's exhaustive, the amount of things that come onto our plate and that fill up our life, and maybe we become extremely focused on our external world, everything else around us, everything else happening around us.
