Fernando Montes de OcaHostI'm the founder of the club that has about, oh, I don't know, a couple hundred people coming out on a weekly basis.
What better way than to, uh, find a room that's available, especially a 12-step, uh, recovery room that they're using in the evening and the afternoon, but it's empty in the morning? I asked for the keys for the morning, and they reluctantly didn't want to give it to me.
I called it Fully Clothed and Right Mind, and it was just, uh, me, the wife, and a homeless person, and pancakes and coffee.
But today, we have, um, 35 to 40 people coming in on a daily basis, about maybe 14 years now.
And so that makes a couple of hundred people a week, and thousands of dollars have come in, and resources.
[laughs] The guys at the Ilano Club, the people that ran the, the office next door and rented the room, they actually were the persons that helped get the meeting started because they gave me mercy of what I was trying to do.
Our 9:00 AM meeting paid the bills because we had plenty of, uh, resources, you know? But that's another story.
