Islamic School Isnt Enough

That reminds me of a school in South Africa which was one of the best private schools at that time.

This is long time back, about 30 to 40 years back.

And even though it was one of the best schools in South Africa, yet...

The principal of the school and the management, they decided to keep the fees half of the other private schools.

Because they wanted more students to enroll in the school.

And once on Saturday, the principal of the school, he happens to go to a five-star hotel.

And what does he see in the five-star hotel? He sees that the girls of his school, in 8th, 9th and 10th grade, 14 years, 15 years, 16 years, they are wearing mini skirts.

And these students, they are entering a dance bar.

So the principal is shocked that how come these students, these girls who are studying in an Islamic school, they are doing such a thing.

They are dressed in the western attire.

So on Monday when the school resumes, The principal calls the parents of these girls in order to tell the parents that we saw your daughters that they were dressed in mini skirts and they were entering a dance bar.

What is the response of the parents? The parents, what do they tell the principal? So what? So what if they were wearing mini skirts? So what if they were entering a dance bar? If you do not like it, we will remove our daughters from your school.

It's a sorry state of affair.

The management, they are at the mercy of the parents.

So that's the reason it is very important that we have good Islamic schools, education for both the worlds.
