right we went off on a really big tangent but it was fun uh you briefly touched on vala is that your i don't know if i say signature deck is that your pet deck for commander
uh so vala is the only deck that i like actually have built and play i technically have a pre-con that i think is white black vampires and i have a uh very underpowered has not been touched in years at this point lateral deck because i just don't enjoy uh casual commander uh No, Sylvalla is probably the only deck that I actually play to the point that when I started playing Dual Commander, don't know why I didn't bring that up when y'all asked about other formats I played.
I just converted CEDH Sylvalla to Dual Commander Sylvalla because I was like, ah, it's the only thing I play.
I remember when NADU was legal for a glorious six months and we were prepping for Colorado's first 5K and you actually sat down in a pod with me.
You were offering to help us prep out and I was deciding between playing NADU and I believe it was Malcolm Timna for that event.
and you played Mainaru Puyo, and you said it was because it was the only Simic deck that looked like it played like a green deck.

I have, in CEDH, I have played Kennen, I have played Rogsai, I have played Blue Farm, I have played a lot of the meta decks, I have played Ral, and every single time I'm like I win too much this deck is too straightforward it just like there are so many decks that I have played other than Vala and it's just like I never have to mulligan these hands are too good

I like kinda a lot of the a big reason that I love Vala is resolving a Phyrexian Dreadnought feels like crack I
kind of impossible to deny there.

Yeah, so real quick, because I think Sylvala is the only deck in the format that plays a Phyrexian Dreadnought.
Phyrexian Dreadnought is a design mistake that was printed back in Mirage.
It was the only Dreadnought for a long time, and then they printed... vehicles and Warhammer 40k, and now Phyrexian Dreadnought is not the only Dreadnought, and that upsets me.
When this creature enters, sacrifice it unless you sacrifice any number of creatures with total power 12 or greater.
This is a 1-mana 12-12 that kills itself when it enters, but I can respond to the trigger and make mana.
