But if you don't like the direction the game is going, what are you actually doing about it?You can't single-handedly change Wizards of the Coast. You probably can't convince all your friends to abandon Commander for Premodern, Pauper, or Legacy, either. But you \*can* take control of your own relationship with Magic—and help build a place for the kind of Magic you want to play.In this video, I'm breaking down the \*\*Magic Reclamation Ladder\*\*: a three-step approach to reclaiming your time, building a local community, and connecting with players who share your interests.\*\*The three rungs:\*\*1. \*\*The Attention Boundary\** — Decide which parts of Magic deserve your time, money, and attention. You don't have to participate in everything.2. \*\*Minimum Viable Community\** — Stop waiting for your local game store to create demand. Find a handful of interested players, organize a game night, and make it easy for new people to join.3. \*\*The Regional Circuit\** — Connect local groups, share events, travel to tournaments, and give your format a future beyond a single store.Whether you're interested in Premodern, Pauper, Classic Legacy, Peak Legacy, or another way to play, the principle is the same: \*\*don't just talk about the game you want to play. Create opportunities to play it.\*\*You don't have to make everyone agree with you. You just have to make room for the Magic you love.\*\*GET INVOLVED WITH ETERNAL DURDLES\*\*- Join the Eternal Durdles Discord: \[DISCORD LINK]- Explore our articles and contribute your own: https://eternaldurdles.com- Subscribe for more Legacy, Premodern, Pauper, and other ways to enjoy Magic. What kind of Magic community do you want to build?
