All the teams that had started really, really well and were in that top bracket that we were going to talk about then went and didn't win yesterday.

Sam, they've kind of carried on under Steve Evans from where they picked up last season, haven't they? And obviously they lost on the opening day, York City, understandable, but then they've won three since and they look very good where they are at the moment, don't they?

And I was at York on opening day and it was a brilliant occasion, mainly because of obviously the home side being back in the football league.

But also when you marry that with one of the pre-season favourites coming to town, massive away contingent, Bristol Rovers will do that in every game in League Two, brilliantly supported club.

And they arrived with real optimism for the season ahead, given, as you rightly say, how good they were at the back end of last season.

That slightly contentious, well, great goal, but contentious celebration against Newport.

They were very much at the forefront of my mind in terms of teams that were going to be in the reckoning this season.

I think getting players back that he had last season, I'm looking at Barmer, the central defender.
