Dean Solomon, James Hird or a Wildcard? The Coaching Race Heats Up | Essendon Bombers Clubcast

But first, the speculation about who the Bombers' next coach will be continues, and the agenda setters were intrigued by three familiar faces spotted together.

One of the subplots from today as well, Mitch, from a news perspective, and this just doesn't go away, was the fact that not James Hird and Paul Little were just there.

They were there sitting next to each other at the MCG, going in together.

We know they're close friends.

Remarkable stuff that, uh, the news continues to swirl surround such a signif- significant event.

That's the s- uh, former president of the club who's been linked.

Carolyn Wilson spoken on this show about the work that Paul Little's doing behind the scenes to try and get James Hird back at the club.

And you've got Kevin Sheedy, a director more recently than Paul Little at the footy club, who came out s- quite vocally, quite strongly in the, uh, pursuit of James Hird to coach the Essendon footy club the last time.

I reckon there's scheming.

I reckon there's a bit of plotting going on in-
