Byron Katie is one of the matriarchs of modern thought work. Her process, known as The Work, is a powerful tool for examining how our thoughts, our perspectives, and our interpretation of the world…
And we have been privileged enough to have her inside of EWP coaching program twice.
And it seems like it's so simple that how could it really make that big of a difference? But if you actually stop And she calls it meditate on it as a meditative practice.
And for us, it's kind of like go through it intentionally with, you know, the perception that this could possibly be helpful to you and possibly help shift your perception and possibly help decrease your suffering.
So again she's kind of like a guru in this space so some of the people when she comes inside of ewp are in awe and she goes by katie and so people like katie blah blah blah and they come to her to work through something that's really it can be for something light and often it can be used for something that's really heavy and has been causing a lot of suffering um And so we have done this not just when Katie's there, but also other times in our coaching program, we take people through the work.
And we obviously can't be sharing the powerful work that people are doing inside the coaching program.
And so, you know, in full transparency, how I was able to do this, this time is clawed.
So I was able to put Byron Katie's episode in and that includes things that, you know, we don't want to share on the podcast.
We went through some revisions and I'm left with a short excerpt from our workshop that that I'm able to share here with you.
So if you're listening while you're doing other things, the time that Katie talks is relatively brief.
So you may want to have this as maybe an episode where you want to even go back and listen when you have a journal, when you have a piece of paper, when you have a pen.
Or there are some worksheets that I'm going to point you to, and they'll be in the show notes.
