Dawn BarnableHostJamie CunninghamHostHi, my name is Maria.
I'm founder of Fit Calendar and a member of E1H third cohort.
I just built an app that brings training, competitions, festival and fitness trips together finally in one place.
and I'm really excited about what this could bring to the Hydrox community.
Gyms are becoming much more than just a place to work out.
They are becoming communities and social spaces to connect with people through the same passion for fitness.
I'm really excited to learn how you have built Hydrox around this idea and I would love to understand more.
So let me ask you, what makes a gym partnership work or fail in your experience? And how have you evolved this experience for both coaches and athletes? And well, I think now it's time to work out.
So Maria is asking about the gym partnerships and how you've built that business and how you make it work in the gyms for both athletes and coaches.

Yeah, so first of all, I think that it's an important question in that regard that obviously it's great to have these gym partners, but it's more important for them to actually stay and like the partnership and it has to make sense for gyms financially.

What we do is we provide a lot of, if they want, training material, digital training courses, partnered recently up with Les Mills in that sense that we offer different, you know, HIROX training courses to gyms if they want it and need it.

marketing materials but most importantly gyms can use the hyrox brand and this is the most important part of it to create their own in kind of let's almost say sports club within the gym and i think this is what we will see in the future gyms have now the big opportunity to become the sports club like what a tennis club is for tennis And if gyms understand that, then they can become much more important than maybe now, where gyms are usually, very often at least, super exchangeable.

You would maybe, you know, you choose your gym close to your working place or maybe your home in order to get there conveniently and efficient.

And I think that can change if community comes into the game suddenly and, you know, gyms are creating the...

I'm just saying a name now, Jamie's Fitness Club, and you have Jamie's High Rocks crew, and suddenly people are joining to train together to prepare themselves for the next race.

So I think gyms have a big opportunity in that space, and I agree with what Maria said, that it's going to be a great time for gyms and a big potential, but This is not only a push effect by us.

This is also something that the gyms need to create themselves and they can use our platform for that.
