So at the beginning, we started this thing October 29th of 2011.
One of the players worked there, so he got us into a room, a conference room with a big table.
Started out using the adventure at the back of the third edition Dragonlance campaign setting.
And, you know, at this point, fourth edition was out.
That was the new hotness that everybody was playing.
And I recruited all of my players from the local store because we all used to play on Wednesdays at the D&D Encounters program they had.
So I just kind of sniped a bunch of people that I liked from those games and and created this campaign.
So fourth edition rules, started it out.
I didn't like the way the introduction adventure was written, so I kind of changed it up a little bit.
And Cole, who was a Dark Knight sorcerer, I had seen on the message boards back in the day an idea that Cole was actually a, could be an elf sorcerer.
in disguise, trying to spy on the Dark Knights.
So that's what I used.
I used that in the story.
Started out in the town of Pasheen, or Passion, however you say it.
Did the whole sewer bit.
What was your favorite part of that first part of the campaign? Leading to the ruined temple with the shattered ruins, or the shadow druids, as some people might have heard.
Dang, you said the only thing I remember, which is Shadow Droids is a joke.
Yep.
Well, I mean, it was good because, you know, we had just kind of started playing in the fourth edition.
And because of it, we were playing on those encounters, and they only went up to, like, level three.
And then they started over.
And then you went up to level three again, and you started over.
So I got kind of burnt out on just getting to level three.
