And thank you to the Minnetonka Girls Lacrosse champion staff for coming down the alley, sharing their story, giving us some background, behind-the-scenes information on their championship run.
And fortunately for them, unfortunately for the rest of Section 2, and maybe unfortunately for the rest of the state, I don't know if this squad is going anywhere, guys.
They have so many 2028s, like so many high-contributing 28s.
They're going to be a problem, and they have depth, and they have experience now, and yeah, I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon.
Is this the beginning of like a dynasty, a dynasty watch, a dynasty warning, a two-peat, maybe a three-peat situation?
the Eden Prairie faithful get really upset when people start talking about dynasties after one or two wins.
They're like, oh, come talk to us when we get to eight wins or whatever it is.
I don't know if I'm ready to call that out, but I don't know what's in their youth hopper, but if what they have coming up is anything like what they have now, it's going to be tough to get through section two and girls lacrosse for a few years.
Let's just say that.
I what's the dynasty is like three and four years, right? Like that's kind of the rule of thumb.
Yeah.
I mean, I would say it's not necessarily having to win it like four years in a row, but you're like in the final game, maybe final four, like you're, you're like a favorite or one of the favorites to win it.
And you got to have at least, at least two, probably three for me to say dynasty.
Yeah.
Two or three.
Okay.
Yeah, I would say, yeah, two.
In pro sports, it's maybe three because you can do like a re-sign player.
Re-sign everybody, yeah.
In high school, you know, they only have so many years of eligibility.
So you can't, you know, unless you'd maybe do some things to give them a fifth year.
I don't know.
But, yeah.
I agree with you.
I was going to call that out if you didn't.
