I've heard this called the inner critic and I like to send my inner critic to the south of France for a while.

And I'd like you to go ahead and close your eyes now and start to bring your attention from the outer world to the inner world.

Start to focus in on your interior landscape, kind of how you're thinking and feeling, the emotions in your body, the kind of comfort or discomfort in your body.
