But with that preamble, I'd like you to look around wherever you are, just kind of look around the room you're in or wherever you are happen to be for this meditation, and just observe your surroundings.

And what we're doing right now is we're shifting from, uh, an app, uh, a practice of doing something physically or mentally to putting the doing part of ourselves, uh, into a, a rest position, as it were, and just observing.

And if you notice that something is askew or looks like it needs to be changed around you, would you just kinda step away from that idea and just observe it? Yes, there's one sock where it shouldn't be, whatnot.

And now I'd like you to close your eyes and start to observe your interior world.

This is the world of how your body is feeling and your mind is working, and I'd like you to just observe that.

And again, if you're noticing, "Boy, I'm kinda grumpy right now," or, "I don't feel like I'm in a great mental space," or, "There's something I'm worrying about," and if you feel the compulsion to fix or adjust that, just step away and just observe it.
