Join The Artists Way Forward to find spiritual reconnection and remove creative blocks. This program offers a path to clarity. Our upcoming cohort launching the week of October 5th, 2026, is designed…
Tishrei invites us into new beginnings, but maybe this year the invitation isn't to arrive fixed or finished or completely transformed.
In Jewish spirituality, we don't enter the new year because we've figured everything out.
We enter it exactly as we are, mid-mass, mid-growth, mid-becoming, and all of it is welcome here.
Feel the weight of your body being held up by the chair or by the ground beneath you.
So often we enter a new year thinking we need to become a better version of ourselves.
But what if Tishri is asking for something different? What if you don't have to become someone else to be worthy of a new beginning? Imagine yourself walking into this new year, not carrying a checklist of everything you need to change, but bringing you, your tired self, your hopeful self, your uncertain self, your growing self.
Now gently place your hand on your heart and ask yourself, what part of myself have I been hiding, waiting until it is better before I let it be seen? Now ask, what would it feel like to bring that part of myself with me into this new year instead of leaving it behind? Don't force an answer.
Breathe in permission to be unfinished and breathe out the pressure to be perfect.
Breathe in again permission to be unfinished and breathe out the pressure to be perfect.
