I was a school psychologist and I did teach yoga and mindfulness, but I didn't really dabble deep into consciousness at all.

I'm sure we'll get into later or another time what brought me into all of this.

But once I learned about who Michael Newton was, I learned that He was a therapist, had a PhD in mental health counseling, and was seeing people for regular talk therapy.

So he was using hypnosis in the form of what we call clinical regression, which is just taking people into the past.

Any moment in the past where something they might have felt a certain way or experienced something that's related to life challenges that they experienced.

And doing some intervention around that to help them shift how that's impacting them today.

So he had a client he was working with show up or show up, regress into the spirit realm and during the session.

And Michael Newton was somebody who didn't believe in anything like that or any kind of afterlife.

And What happened after that, and I'll let listeners maybe check out his first book, Journey of Souls, because that you could dive more deeply into what he found from his research.

But what happened with the client that he was working with was so much significant progress.

And he started doing his own research because he didn't want to be impacted by by a lot of other factors or people.

He ended up working with over 7,000 people from all different faith backgrounds over the course of 40 years.

I mean, he was still working as a therapist and doing these very lengthy, what he ended up naming Life Between Lives sessions, which is a trademark name through the Newton Institute now just to – that really represents the work and the process that he developed.

It's comprehensive of working with the human, our everyday life challenges, but also exploring our spiritual side and our higher selves and what is happening for us in spirit and how is that connected to our life today? What are we here to experience in this life? What have we experienced in other lifetimes? And more looking at our soul's development.

Obviously reincarnation, life between lives doesn't make sense outside of the context of reincarnation.
