And that could be due to a number of reasons, changing climate and milder winters, and, and all sorts of other things could be at, uh, at play as well.

Um, interestingly, I mean, we have lots of, of tick species in the state, but on a worldwide basis, if you wanted to go to, like, the tick hotspot where you have maximum tick diversity, it would actually be some of the, the kinda dry savanna-type locations in Africa.

You can have species that, you know, specialize on, uh, some of the wildlife there, rhinoceroses or other things like that.

There's a couple that stand out in particular, and then there's all these other kind of obscure species that you won't bump into unless you really went looking for them.
