I married my high school sweetheart when I was 18, and it just didn't work out.

It was just one of those, just got married too young, and I ended up having the baby, but we split up after the baby was born.

It was a messy breakup, and I was just very lonely.

But dating was hard because you do have a child, and you don't wanna bring strangers around them.

Joy? Oh, hey, didn't mean to startle you.

Uh, I'm John.

Oh, [laughs] hi, John.

It's nice to finally meet you.

I met Jonathan through his brother.

I was friends with his brother, and, um, he just said, "Hey, you would really like my brother." And then we started talking on social media.

Then we started talking on the phone, and, um, we met up.

Love your tattoo.

It's beautiful work.

Thanks.

I like yours.

Got it a while ago.

[laughs] Shall we?

Yeah.

[laughs] He just seemed like a very outgoing person, very handsome, and a lot of tattoos, and that was right up my alley.
