nuggets in there nuggets so I well my background is strength and conditioning didn't start out in dance wasn't a dancer probably why I have imposter syndrome half the time but that's another topic

episode two and yeah started out in just professional sport in Sydney and straight out of school went to uni and did what I needed to do there and then kind of ended up being professional sport and That's where I sat for a while.

So strength and conditioning back in the day was very much heavy lifting in the gym and, you know, very kind of black and white old school.

So I just from the very beginning wanted to infuse, I guess, Pilates principles into S&C and a very big focus on flexibility because no one was really doing that.

So I started working in the NRL just with different clubs, taking that into there.

Yeah, then just had my family and still kept working through that and somehow have ended up in dance because my daughter dances.

Yeah, somehow I've ended up in dance and it's been great because I feel like it's a bit of an area that is – not being professional so to speak everyone's wanted to touch it but it's been really good to bring so much stuff from other sport that aren't so professional into dance and just feel like i can and make it and make a difference i'm at the stage of my career when i just wanted to make a difference in whatever i was doing
My name is Lucy Ellis and I have probably a different perspective from you because my background really was predominantly art focused.
I did a lot of theater as a kid and everything, all my learning was kind of based around a career in the musical theater industry.
Oh my gosh, I actually really should not because now because of all my teaching, I have nodules.
