Hilchos Shabbos Siman שז Sief יד-טז October 27, 2026
So we're continuing on over here in this idea of certain things that are usurped because of certain things that are potentially mutter, meaning that they are excluded from this gezerah.
And one of the things that the Mechaber said over here in Sif Yud Dalet is that if you get a letter on Shabbos that may have a tzerach aguf, you're able to read it.
However, Mechava said that if it came from outside of the Tchum, it's best not to touch it, and have a go, you open it up for you, and you can just read it, you shouldn't say it, but you should only read it, and obviously it turns out that it doesn't have any Tzara HaGuv, you shouldn't continue reading it, because then it would fall under the Gezer, but you should not touch it.
So we're holding in Sif Yud, Simei Shinzai, Sif Yud Dalet, we are at the Mishabur, and Sif Katan Nun Vav, Shalom Yigaba, you shouldn't touch it.
Even for the person who was bought for, who we say that if something's brought for you from outside of the Tchum, you are not allowed to personally have enough of it.
So another Yitkud, meaning, If something is bought for me from outside of the tron, I'm not allowed to have a no from it on Shabbos.
So you can't say it's mukta, because if the rest of Klai Yisrael can touch it, how can it be mukta? The only thing that it could be...
If it's something that you're particular, nobody else should use it, right? So yet sometimes people have documents, they wouldn't want any, they would put it away, it shouldn't get lost.
But just on the in and of itself, although the Mechaber said don't touch it, it says, if it's not something that you're concerned about, and you wouldn't let anybody else read or touch, then there isn't any Now, we're going to go over here to a slightly different but related topic, but this actually could be very negev, something we should be careful about.
