[laughs] Um, i- of all of the categories right now as we s- take a, a snapshot here in, in mid-September, if you had to pick one driver that is, of all categories, that is the most likely driver to win a world championship in 2026, I think it's Trey Vetter.
So Vetter is not only the leader in Super Comp, again, I think he's the heavy title favorite in the ultra-competitive 890 category, a category that's near and dear to my heart.
So, um, where he's at right now, in seven events thus far in his 2026 season, Trey Vetter, the Division 7 runner, he's lost just three rounds.
Um, and he hasn't let up yet, adding Division 7 triumphs in Vegas and Sonoma, and then ultimately winning the national event in Sonoma.
That was a two-week stretch that really catapulted him, vaulted him way out in front in Super Comp, and to a lead that, that...
I mean, nothing is insurmountable a- as we sit here in mid-September, but man, you gotta like Trey Vetter's chances.
He currently sits atop the standings with a pretty s- massive number at this point in the season, 573 points, and he still gets a full claim at his next divisional event.
It may not even take that to, to win in this particular season, but usually you feel good about 650 winning the championship.
That's not a given for Trey Vetter, but given how many races he's got left on the table and the success that he's had, and just his talent as a whole, um, i- it's, it's not hard to imagine him cresting 650 or maybe even, you know, flirting with 700, and that's something that in the Super Comp category I think has only been done once, maybe twice.
Like, 700's a, a big number in any class, but especially a class that has the, the parity and co- and level of competition that Super Comp does.
