Today, we're gonna look at honor God with your time.

Time is one of God's greatest gifts.

Every day, we are given 24 hours, every single one of us.

Once a moment has passed, we can never, ever get it back.

Many people spend their lives chasing things that will just not last.

Hours disappear through worry, distraction, busyness, entertainment, or simply living without purpose.

But God calls His people to use their time wisely at every moment.

Every day is an opportunity to grow closer to Him, to serve others, to share the gospel, to become more like Jesus Christ.

Our lives on earth are certainly short.

We might not think it, but it is.

That is why every moment matters.

The Bible says in Colossians 4:5, "Be wise in the way you act towards outsiders.

Make the most of every opportunity." Notice that Paul encourages believers to make the most of every opportunity.

God has entrusted us with time, and He wants us to use it for His glory and for His namesake.

Today, we are learning how honoring God by making wise use of the time that He has given us.

But before we do, come, let's pray.

Come, let's pray.

Father, thank you for the gift of each new day.

Forgive us for the time we have wasted, the opportunities that you have given us.

Teach us to use our time wisely, to seek you daily, and to serve you faithfully.

Help us make every moment count for your glory.

In Jesus' precious and wonderful name, we pray.
