I do completely understand the justification a bunch of you are gonna give for this, which is Rhys is protecting her, making it easier on her, and he's not abusing her while she's drugged, but it's keeping them all safe and he's able to insight more aggravation in Tamlin and stuff through this without her having to be agreeable to it really is all it is.
I thought that it was to help her with getting through this horrific time.
