So the Gemara continues to ask the kasha and the shelokish in the Braisa is: ho ba'al mum shori.

But if he detached the wool from a blemished animal, then that wool is permissible, but not.

So from the words of the Tana, it's mashma that as long as it's ba'al mum and it's not a tam, it's permissible.

And af al pi shlo hitiru mumcha, even though there is no mumcha permis-per-permitting it, still it would be all right to be benefiting from that wool.

So that would be a challenge to Reish Lakish who says that before the mumcha prepared it, it's gonna be asur b'naah.

This Tana of the Braisa, if it's a situation, any situation that the mumcha has not permitted yet and declared officially that it has a mum kavuah, he calls it a tam.

Because up till the time that the mumcha declares it a blemished, it's considered a tam, that you're not allowed to shecht it, uh, just anywhere, and you have to bring it to the mizbeach.

So when the Braisa says, af al pi shenolad mum, doesn't mean that the mum happened later on.

It means even though that after he detached, he shows the mum to the expert and he tells him mum kavuah, and he allows him to shecht it, that wool will still be asur b'naah because at the time of the detachment, it wasn't known yet.
