How do you create something when you don't know what you're creating yet? For most of my life, I've known how to create when I have a clear goal in sight. But over the last few years, I've been…

As I mentioned, I talked about yin and yang creation before in that previous episode.

Yang creation is a kind of creation that I know very well and I bet most of you know very well because it is the act of creating when you have a very clear goal in mind, when you have a clear understanding of what it is that you're actually building, when you can see the end in sight and every step you take is moving you toward that goal.

It is very much aligned with the energy of divine masculine energy, where it's using your conscious will, using your own energy and your effort to move energy forward and take action.

And it's really what I've learned in the last almost 20 years of being an animal photographer.

Now, yin creation, on the other hand, is something that I have really been learning over the last three years.

So how do you create something when you don't have a destination in mind? I talked about in that previous episode how it felt like three years of wandering in the desert, not knowing what to do, trying all kinds of different things and sort of coming to some sort of clarity along the way as I went through that process.

I said it felt almost like it was building a building without a blueprint where you're standing in the middle of it and you have no idea what this thing is going to look like.

But you're getting a brick here, a window here and a door here until at some point in March, I was like, wait a second, I'm starting to see sort of a building forming here.

And so today's episode is kind of picking up from that part of the story, because now I'm going to tell you what's happened in the last six months since March of where I started to sort of get a clear idea of where things are going.

And I had shared how one of the big things that crystallized everything for me was to restart the podcast.
