Welcome back to the Crafternoon Podcast hosted by Daisy @MyGreenCow and Meg @megjournals Today we're chatting all things journaling supplies, from our all-time favourites to the ones we (maybe)…
So what did you start out with, Daisy? I have always
been a washy
lover.
Yeah, I think we all are.
I think that was probably one of my first ever... like supplies that i would use in my smashbook days um and i don't think that's changed really not not in like like i don't i've never stopped using washi i've always used washi even now
well let us not forget that you of course have the eighth wonder of the world the washi wall
Yeah, I made a shrine for my washi.
That's how much I love it,
basically.
But I think tape just in general, not just like decorative tape.
I was thinking compared to what I use now, I use double sided tape religiously, like in every single page pretty much.
Nowadays, I don't.
as much I don't I go for glue more than I do tape changed I've changed
changed your adhesive ways yeah
yeah
is that like you're using different stuff to stick down and you're finding that the glue is easier because obviously I'm thinking in your in your smash books they were quite like i
yeah i had
like a you had like loads i know you have loads going on in your stuff now but you had like lots going on on those pages that i feel like you would have needed that strength
yeah from the tape heavier stuff going in there um and lots of different materials needing to be stuck together as well and glue just doesn't cut it for a lot of A lot of materials.
Although saying that, the tape that I used is really, it's not holding up that well.
Going back through some of my other journals, I noticed that the tape was coming off and stuff and I'd have to re-stick it with a different type of tape.
Glue wouldn't have done it for a lot of the things if I'd used glue.
religiously back then so I am glad I did use tape but I just don't use it as much now unless I really if I'm sticking a photo in I'll use a stronger tape but
yeah
