EP 119; 10/15/26 - Law enforcement cost-cutting measures

Hey, you know, one of the things I want to talk about today, of course, we're going to do a regular show, but one of the things I really want to talk about is the trip to San Antonio.

I haven't had a chance to do that.

That's true.

It was just a couple weeks ago.

We got back.

And Gary, you know, I was invited down there to do some speaking engagements.

I was like, okay, you know, I'll go down there and get some information.

And it really went a lot better than I ever thought it was going to.

Great.

It was really good.

So one of the highlights, I mean, there are so many things going on, but I just want to highlight one incident.

So on Thursday evening, I was invited to speak at this group of officers.

They started in January of this year, starting what they call the chief circle.

Now, when I first heard it, I thought it was, okay, the chief, the chief of police.

Well, no, they mean like chief, like Chief Jesus.

So, you know, because it's first responders, it's policemen and firemen.

And so, you know, your boss is the chief, right? The chief of the fire department, chief of the police department.

But they're like, no, our boss is chief, the chief.

It's got you.

So they developed this prayer circle called the Chief Circle.

And what it is, they come together, they pray, they have a time of Bible study.

Firemen and policemen in San Antonio, most of them are policemen who are started by a police officer.

And they invited the chief to come out.

Well, the new chief...

The week before, this was on the Thursday the 18th, on the 11th, the week before, San Antonio just appointed a brand new chief of police.
