My dad is a real master of cool fidgets and crazy DIY gadgets! He turned a cola can into a Barbie lamp , transformed a doll into a mermaid , and even made me wonderful earrings from a simple bottle…
[upbeat music] Um, kid, that's not spaghetti.
Let's sneak out.
We've got some party planning to do.
[sign squeaks] [screams] Watch out! Not the presents.
[record scratches] [body thuds] Uh-oh.
Looks like we're starting all over again.
[cries] It's okay.
There's still time.
That girl sleeps till noon.
[grunts] [upbeat music] And look, even an old can can help.
[grunts] Straighten it out, add a stencil, and poke some holes.
[stencil rattling] Now add some lights inside.
Make room for the batteries.
[batteries rattling] Add a lid on top and try it out.
[light thuds] Great for any giant blowout party.
[chimes ringing] What's in here? Ooh, a baby doll.
[baby doll coos] Coochie, coochie, coo.
[baby giggles] [ bubbles bubbling] Why don't we take a balloon, cut a little off the top and the bottom, add it onto the doll's legs- [balloon squeaks] [upbeat music] And pour on some clear glue [glue sloshing] with glitter, lots of sparkly glitter.
[baby giggles] It's a mermaid tail.
Just add a fin.
[upbeat music] Maybe a few jewels.
[jewels dinging] Can't forget the seashell bikini.
[seashell bikini splats] [chimes ringing] [upbeat music] Poor dolly, she's missing the back of her head.

Our glue gun can make a brand-new head.
