Star Trek, um, told us that, uh, space was the final frontier, but for me personally, I believe it's going within, and that's what the theme of the talk today, Better Relating and Better Loving: The Key to Fulfillment, is actually a journey of going within and, and that's where it takes real courage.

And so I'm gonna ex- talk you through some of the aspects I've got on, on this topic.

Um, in my decades of working in these areas, um, for the most part, the media will present, um, three aspects of self.

It'll present, um, the mind, the body, uh, and the spirit, which to me is a, um, a challenging, uh, way to look at things.

Uh, as much as they think that encompasses everything, what they've done is they've managed to jam your emotional aspect into the mental.

So the ch- the challenge with that is, um, really important that the emotional aspect is its own beautiful, wonderful aspects.

And all of those things we love about watching children play when they're in the moment being beautifully expressive and, um, and just involved in everything, and that's so important.

And especially as we, um, grow up and get all serious, we frequently, uh, leave that bit behind because the mind becomes the priority aspect.

So the four aspects of self are obviously the physical, the mental, the spiritual, and the emotional.

Um, the important thing about that is, um, the mental aspect, uh, takes a different overriding, uh, position in r- when it comes to, um, its view of its importance and how it controls our reality.

So the importance to me is, is it's one aspect and it needs to be ultimately reminded it's one aspect.

But we look, uh, at the, um, the intelligence of, of ourselves, the learnings we've had, the training we've had, all of these important, uh, factors, um, are created as we grow along and go along.

But then there's the physical side of things, and Eric and many other speakers today have spoken about the importance of diet, exercise, uh, to keep those aspects of the physical, uh, looking after the vessel that the spiritual, mental, uh, and emotional aspects reside in and can express in.

So that's really important for us to be able to keep a healthy, uh, physical, uh, to keep that going.

So, um, when we've spent too much chair time, we'll go outside and then bounce on the rebounder and just to give everything a good jiggle so that it can, um, be revitalized again so that we can feel, um, that we can get the limps working, we can get the muscles engaged and, and, and all of that, which is so important.

The, um, um, the spiritual aspect, uh, for many people includes, you know, their religion, of course, but it also includes, you know, the wonder of nature, the wonder of the universe, the wonder of the galaxies, and maybe that's already incorporated into your religious views.
