In this bonus episode, I am giving some insight as to why we are in Doha Qatar. I’ve had some questions behind the scenes and I wanted to give people the scoop if they are interested.
Like, this to us is still traveling because we are in another country.
We're not in the US.
So our big goal was to leave the United States and immerse our kids into other cultures.
That was the big thing.
We wanted to show our kids the world, and it didn't matter if it was going to be, you know, fast-paced, slow-paced, long-term, short-term.
The big, big goal was just to leave the US and start exploring.
Now, when we started the planning process, we didn't have a long-term plan, but that doesn't really scare us because we've lived abroad multiple times.
We are also willing and even excited to live in countries that have a very different way of doing things or a different lifestyle, and I think that opens a lot of doors.
If you are closed off to lifestyles other than your own, then your places for travel or your places where you may be able to go live might be a little more limited, but if you're willing to see how other people live, embrace different cultures, that will open a door, and you'll have way more options.
So anyway, back to the planning.
