Well, today I've got, you know, like, that rare series from Dark Horse Comics that has no, like, you know, pre-existing media tie-ins.
You know, not from, like, you know, live action, not from, like, you know, like a TV series, not from anime or manga.
It's a manga that doesn't have any existing media tie-ins, be it live action or anime, like TV or film.
It has, like, a distinctive premise, like, a grounded real-world premise in the sense that, you know, it's a series that starts with, like, the admission of a murder.
Like a girl's hand is, like, you know, found delivered to, like, a specific home...
And initially, the social media apparatus just sounds like, you know, what's going on here? Like, what's happening? It's like, and people are wondering, you know, what's going on at all? Well, it turns out that the person murdered was one Mako Igarashi.
It's like, and they're wondering, you know, well, like, you know, how did this happen? Well...
turns out that um that her uh that one of her friends um mizuki akawa has confessed to it she basically um like you know killed like um killed mako like because because of reasons specifically pertaining to like um they're like their sordid sordid past basically like when um While Mako was the bright, outgoing friend and all, Mizuki was the one who was just focused on trying to please her parents and trying to... like, delivered being a, like, a good, like, a good, good girl, like, you know, like, like, like, profile and all, but then, one day, when she, uh, went to, uh, went to, went to Mako's, um, like, um, like, ramen shop workplace, well, her uncle, um, like, basically, you know, tried to, tried to sexually assault her, and just say, hey, you know, like, yeah, doing this will be, like, you know, like, good for business and all, it's like, you know, my, my side business of, like, you know, like, you know, showing, like, you know, like, like, like, you know, sexually, like, you know, assault pornographic films, well, then it's, like, it's also said that, that, that Mizuki basically, like, killed, like, Amako's uncle, and then things, like, you know, spiraled from there.
Basically, after, after she, after she did that, you know, like, like, Mako basically, like, allegedly persuaded her to, like, you know, to cover, like, you know, to cover this up, but then, um, this came to the attention of Mako's girlfriend, um, Yuki Akazuki, like, a guy who was, like, allegedly stalking her, but, you know, maybe he may not have been, like, you know, as, like, as bad as, like, as she'd alleged.
It's like, because he basically tried to, like, you know, help, um, like, help Mizuki try to, sorry, help Midori, like, deal with all this.
And, like, that's kind of where we are with the, it's like, with the, like, with the start of the series.
Basically, Mizuki has basically been, like, accused of, like, accused of Mako's Mako's death, like, once a series, like, at the start of the series, and, well, now she's got to, like, you know, deal with, like, you know, the Japanese legal systems, like, various, like, quirks in terms of, like, you know, like, you know, proving, like, whether or not she cheated or not, including, you know, the, it's like the, it's like the attorney she's been assigned, one of them, Yutaka Tsuji, But Yutaka is an average middle-aged guy who listens to Mizuki's story and thinks that, okay, what you're saying makes sense, but I'm not entirely sure about what's going on here.
