Police Shootout in Wisconsin & Political Ads Under Fire

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! **A police encounter turns into a shooting. Political ads raise more questions. And DVJ has plenty to say about both.** In this episode of **Cold World w/ DVJ & Michelle**, DVJ starts the morning with a breakfast run, coffee, and a look at real police footage that raises serious questions about law enforcement, public safety, and accountability. The first major story takes us to **Superior, Wisconsin**, where police responded to an incident in May 2026 that ended with a man being shot. DVJ watches the footage, reacts to what unfolds, and questions the outcome of the incident, including whether the officers faced consequences. The episode also features footage from a separate Wisconsin traffic incident involving a vehicle crash, a police pursuit, people fleeing the scene, and officers trying to locate the missing driver. The situation leads to a discussion about suspected impaired driving, police procedures, and the decisions people make when an encounter with law enforcement takes an unexpected turn. Then the conversation shifts to **Wisconsin politics**. DVJ discusses political advertising in the governor's race, particularly ads targeting David Crowley and the way immigration-related incidents are used in campaign messaging. He questions whether the ads fairly represent a candidate's responsibilities and whether voters are being given the full context they need to make informed decisions. The episode also includes music, NFL Week 5 talk, the Brewers, the Bucks, early-morning routines, coffee, breakfast burritos, and a little love for Chewy. It's a mix of real-world footage, political commentary, sports, and everyday Milwaukee life—with DVJ bringing his unfiltered reactions to the stories that catch his attention. **Do the videos tell the whole story? Are political ads informing voters or simply trying to influence them? And who should be held accountable when things go wrong?** Watch, listen, and decide for yourself. 🎙️ **Cold World w/ DVJ & Michelle — real conversations, real reactions, no filter.** #ColdWorld #DVJAndMichelle #MilwaukeePodcast #Milwaukee #Wisconsin #WisconsinNews #SuperiorWisconsin #PoliceBodycam #PoliceShooting #PoliceAccountability #LawEnforcement #PoliceFootage #PublicSafety #CriminalJustice #PoliceChase #ImpairedDriving #WisconsinPolitics #WisconsinGovernor #DavidCrowley #TomTiffany #PoliticalAds #PoliticalAdvertising #Immigration #Voting #MilwaukeeWisconsin #Brewers #Bucks #Packers #NFL #RealTalk #Unfiltered #NoFilter #Podcast #WisconsinPodcast
