. Beauty Expo 2026: Industry Lessons I Learnt This Weekend (Someone Stole From Me and I Loved It)

Beauty Expo 2026.

What a whirlwind it was.

I've been thinking about it the last few days.

This is Tuesday afternoon.

I was supposed to record this yesterday morning.

I've been thinking about it across the Friday set up, the Saturday first day, the Sunday day two, and then yesterday whilst I was kind of going through my day, inducting new staff members, all of the fun things.

I've been thinking about it the last few days.

And I'm glad I didn't record yesterday because things have percolated in my brain.

But I'm going to tell you what the big frame for my weekend was.

And it was that on day one at Beauty Expo, I was walking back to our stand from my first ever toilet trip.

And I was desperate, I can tell you that.

But I bumped into Isabella.

Yes, that Isabella from Skin For Me, who stopped me and said, I've stolen products from you.

I owe you for them.

I've sent you a picture of what they look like.

So she had sold out of her stock midway through day one, which...

Isabella, yes, that is so incredible for you.

But instead of her panicking about it or maybe kind of shoehorning another one of her products into the role of slip medium for her most incredible facial treatments, she just came to the Murad stand and stole what she needed.

And then she told me about it afterwards.

And that day one of Expo, it really was the moment that gave me the framework for the weekend.

And it showed me exactly what Expo was all about this year.

Because guess what? Isabella knew that I would support her.

in stealing my stock.

There's not many people that I'd be okay with coming over and taking stuff from me.

Isabella is one of them.

But sisterhood, that is what this weekend was all about for me, whether we are related or whether we are not.

And sisterhood is what I want the We all know it.

We can be absolute best of friends and there will always inevitably be those little fallouts, but we always come back together and we support each other so fiercely.

Collaboration over competition.
