Straight out of Beauty Expo Australia and this one's personal. A smaller team, a stand that nearly sold out, a competitor who "stole" our stock and the conversation that followed. PLUS what I've…
Emma Hindmarsh-ConanHostI've been thinking about it across the Friday set up, the Saturday first day, the Sunday day two, and then yesterday whilst I was kind of going through my day, inducting new staff members, all of the fun things.
And I'm glad I didn't record yesterday because things have percolated in my brain.
And it was that on day one at Beauty Expo, I was walking back to our stand from my first ever toilet trip.
Yes, that Isabella from Skin For Me, who stopped me and said, I've stolen products from you.
But instead of her panicking about it or maybe kind of shoehorning another one of her products into the role of slip medium for her most incredible facial treatments, she just came to the Murad stand and stole what she needed.
And that day one of Expo, it really was the moment that gave me the framework for the weekend.
There's not many people that I'd be okay with coming over and taking stuff from me.
But sisterhood, that is what this weekend was all about for me, whether we are related or whether we are not.
We can be absolute best of friends and there will always inevitably be those little fallouts, but we always come back together and we support each other so fiercely.
Sorry about the noises in the background, but I just wanted to get this out.
If you don't know about Someplace Good, we are the place that beauty professionals land in to tune in, to translate, and then to take action from all of the great stuff that is happening in the beauty industry.
We take your overwhelm with all of that stuff that's going on and we turn it into action for your business.
